A.Lange & Sohne has released its thinnest watch yet, a gloriously simple two-handed watch in a new design, available in two sizes – both ideal for a masculine or feminine wrist.
The A. Lange & Söhne Saxonia Thin has a depth of just 5.9 millimetres and is framed in cases of 37mm and 40mm, both versions retaining the traditional characteristics of the brand’s lineage with refined sleekness and elegance.
A subtly reworked dial reflects the current design of Saxonia family with slightly extended baton-style hour markers on the solid-silver face.
Available cased in pink and white gold, both versions are powered by the manually wound movement which is a scant 2.9 millimetres thick and features fine finishing of all parts.
Classic quality hallmarks include a German-silver, three-quarter plate decorated with Glashütte ribbing, solarised winding-train wheels, three screwed gold chatons and a hand-engraved balance cock.
In other words this is one watch that’s not just a pretty face.
