Fiery features add to Breitling brio

Breitling Chronomat 44 Raven

A black case and orange accents (Breitling describe the combination as “ultra-sporty”) give fresh pop to the brand’s 44mm Chronomat, its mechanical chronograph line that’s been around for a surprising 40 years now.

It looks decidedly more contemporary here, thanks to a satin-brushed steel case finished with a high-resistance carbon coating, orange rubber inlaid numerals on the bezel, more orange touches on the inner bezel, chronograph seconds hand and counter pointers, and even more when you turn the watch over.

Visible through the transparent caseback you’ll see even the black oscillating weight has orange markings.

It provides automatic – that is self-winding – power to Breitling’s chronometer-certified in-house Caliber 01 movement.
