Oris’s happy diver’s watch offers many great features, but the best one is value.
Oris’s happy diver’s watch offering has been topped up with a new addition to the Aquis range, the Aquis Small Second Date, a model that eschews a sweep seconds hand for with a small seconds indication.
The small-second function is said to be favoured by divers because, while it shows the watch is still working, it doesn’t clutter the deep blue dial or reduce legibility.
What they really favour though is the value Oris watches offer.
Here’s a piece good for 500 meters, sporting a fat scratch-resistant domed crystal with anti-reflective coating, plus the usual unidirectional rotating bezel – here in black ceramic – while inside a self-winding movement keeps things ticking.
For that weighty package you’ll pay just $2700 with a rubber strap or $2900 for the bracelet version.
